Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the TourFlex Lift Kit. This lift kit is designed to raise your trailer frame to provide 3 1/8 inches of additional clearance between the trailer frame and the axle. This is ideal for trailers needing to gain a bit more ground clearance. Again, it raises the trailer frame 3 1/8 inches off the axle. This is designed for use on trailers with tandem number 12 TourFlex axles, with a 5,500 pound to 7,000 pound capacity. It works on side-mounted axle systems only. And the spacers are constructed of a durable steel construction, and they have a black paint finish.
So with this kit, you get four frame spacers, and you get all the necessary installation hardware needed to complete the process.Basically, what happens is . the way this attaches is let's picture as if my trailer's going this way. I have the front of the trailer and the rear of the trailer. So the flat side faces the wheel assembly. The internal side would face the underside of the trailer.
And then, basically what we have is we have hardware to attach to the top of the axle. Then we have hardware . We have these holes here, so we have the necessary hardware to also attach to the frame of the trailer.Each side of each spacer is gonna have two attachment points: One on the bottom, which you're gonna attach it to the axle, one on the side, which would attach to the trailer frame. It's got the welded-in supports. It's a nice, strong, durable design.When it comes to the overall measurements, measuring edge to edge, each one measures the same.
We're looking at 12 inches long. Overall height 3 1/8 inches, that's where we get our clearance measurement from. And then the overall depth is 2 1/2 inches.That's gonna do it for today's look at the TourFlex Lift Kit. Again, these are designed for number 12 TourFlex axles, with 5,500 pound to 7,000 pound capacities.

I had to do some modifications to make it fit but they are nice heavy material they fit in place nice and work well
I needed to raise my Scamp 19er to accommodate a new pickup. After speaking with one of your sales staff on the phone, I ordered the Dexter kit. I knew the Dexter set would not be a perfect fit but the lift height and component size was close enough. Besides, it was way less expensive than having them custom made. I had to drill new holes in the Dexter kit to match the holes in the Scamp. Once that was done everything went together fine. One year later, all is still fine.

I give a "good" rating only due to small discrepancies such as seen in attached pics. The product is not powder coated, as claimed, yet appears to be enamel baked on without primer. I went no further than opening the box and viewing the contents, after seeing the ragged condition the product was in (see pics). Seems strong enough to do what was intended, just not on my TT. Will I buy from etrailer in the future? YOU BET!
Very pleased with the lift kit. I installed it on my 1977 thirty one foot Airstream trailer. I had to adjust one hole but other than that it was perfect. That was probably due to the fact that the trailer is 43 years old. It took me and a friend about four hours to complete the installation.
We needed a lift for sure we do missions on the woods. As opposed to welding and buying new axles this is a pretty simple kit to install. There was a little grinding on the trailers sloppy welding and cleaning up the bold holes but it turned our great. Thanks.
Customer service is impeccable and helpful. The length of the lift fit our mount but the wholes for two bolts didn’t line up. Our trailer has a Lippert Axle and we had to drill two holes to fit the bolts properly. I contacted Lippert and they no longer sell the lift kits. Aside from going to a shop and paying over $1k for someone to fabricate a solution for us; this is the route we chose.
The holes to mount to top of axle fit fine. It's the holes the mount on the side, to the frame bracket are filled too low. They're off by half a diameter.
Kit was pretty easy to install. Leveled out our horse trailer very well. This allowed us to keep the front of the trailer off the pickup box, while keeping the rear of the trailer from dragging. I also noticed I was getting some tire wear on the rear axle, due to the pitch of the trailer. This has stopped. Great product.
Perfect fit and lifted the camper as needed. Great support from Etrailer in selecting the right part.
My brother installed them at my house. Had he remembered his big jack stands it would’ve gone faster. Everything bolted up easily and the trailer now clears the pickup bed.

It’s worked out great.
Bolted directly to axle but had to redrill new holes into trailer but excellent lift kit. Gave my 99 elite horse trailer with 7000lbs axles the height to clear new ram 2500 bed
Just what my trailer needed and hole on axle lined up great not so much on trailer but still workable.
Was a perfect fit. Two buddies came over to help me install the lift kit. They practically did it themselves in about an hour and a half.
After the initial installation, I thought it was going to be too high. But once the vehicle is load and strapped down, my car hauler was sitting at the right height. This kit gave the ground clearance I was needing. No more scrapping in and out of parking lots or dragging down my driveway. Overall very easy to install and very pleased with the product without sacrificing tow ability. I would recommend using again.
I bought this kit to modify it to use with a Lippert axle on my Rpod. Since Lippert makes such a crap product and would not warranty their axle and then discontinued making the riser kits, this was the only way for me to get the lift I needed without making my own. I had to resize two sets of holes, but they worked.
Fit great with my 2019 4 Star STC 24.

I think my clearance is excellent no more worry when hauling 36’ lq 3 horse trailer in primitive camping spots. I also have not had any issues with goose neck hitting my tailgate they worked great and excellent hardware.. just took trailer with the kit installed from Florida to Tennessee no issues. Slightly higher for horses to get in and out but not horrible. I would recommend to anyone who owns an older trailer and a newer truck. I put mine on a 1999 sundowner horse trailer with living quarters. I up loaded one pic before and one after hopes this helps only takes a couple hrs to install with the right tools.
Nice kit. It didn’t fit my trailer. Apparently my axles are different manufacturer. No hole lined up. Two of the holes were dead center of the gussets. I’m a retired fabricator so I was able alter them so they would fit.
Gave me plenty of clearance on my 3h gooseneck trailer on my super duty!
Shipping and delivery was in a timely manner. I have not installed purchased item at this time.
Unbelievable! I have been a loyal etrailer customer for ever, and couldn't think that they could get any better. But this order was a genuine Dexter Axle part, it came early, and it was less that half the price of other options!! The communication was extraordinary, and because it was early, I got the lift kit installed before my wife needed the trailer for the horse show, this morning!! Installation videos were spot-on, too!
Should up with 3 of the 4 brackets in the box and has taken 3 weeks to get the 4th bracket. Trailers been sitting on the street for a month waiting on the 4th bracket to show up.
Great product. Dexter axles is a great company. The lift kit is high-quality. E trailers did a superb job on price and delivery. Received my package the next day. Very pleased. A slight heads up for anyone with an older trailer. Sometimes an older trailer and newer products don’t match up perfectly. This is no fault of Dexter axles or E trailer. Just be aware that there could be variations.
Quality product and was easy to install. The kit gives newer trucks the clearance needed for older gooseneck trailers.

Hey Yroy, I can see what you mean. Do you happen to know which Torflex axle you have? There is normally a sticker or marking with a number (like #12) on the axle bar.
